Despite that, though, I really enjoyed the novel and was sorry to see it end. By the end I liked Sarah and the people of Jonah so much I was wishing for a sappy, pat, feel-good ending. She gives you an ending that's a lot like life - kind of up in the air, but still satisfying.I'm not sure how much appeal this novel will have with the general public based on its religious bent. Having recently gone through a time of searching and ultimately finding, I found it beautiful, comforting and affirming. I hope readers who don't consider themselves people of faith will give it a chance. Another Way Home is the third book in Deborah Raney's Chickory Inn series and it is the best one so far.
Home Another Way by Brenda Anderson is a delightful contemporary Christian romance. It is the eighteenth book in the Potter’s House series but can be read as a stand-alone. Following Austin and Dani's journey as they discover each other as they address the issue of homelessness has been eye opening! I am eager to learn what happens to Austin's mother. Once a homeless teen, Austin Lang is now a school teacher and coordinator of the Family Table Meal for the homeless in his community.

Told in a flowing prose and expressive illustration the story comes to life. Well done, this children’s book should become a favorite Christmas read aloud for many years to come. I liked their desire to follow the star; their wisdom to journey with gifts and the speculation that a momentous happening had occurred. But the book is mostly the author’s own reasoning about these men and their encounter with King Herod. A different back story is given to each wise man, which in part is demeaning, but their antecedence isn’t really necessary, as their actions are the telling factor in their adventure.
A Christmas Story
I was at odds, championing them both, wishing I could wave a magic wand and fix it all for them. She sets them on an incredible journey of discovery. There's plenty of twists and turns and gasp-out-loud moments.

Looking for a good cause to fill her lonely days, she never expects to give her heart to the hurting women she meets there. Dani was brought up with everything she ever wanted. Austin struggled to protect and help his sister. When Dani gets in trouble and has to work with Austin both of their lives will change. Was how much these two try to help the homeless people in this story is truly amazing. The characters in this book are all very special people.
After this came our she began a new phase of life as a spiritual nomad. I loved the powerful message and the illustrations are absolutely beautiful. This time it relate the story of the wise man in a slightly different version from the must know story. Too slow, didn't bring anything knew to a well tell story and the message/goal of this book is just very unclear to me... The publisher through Net Galley provided an ARC.

I have had the honor of reading and reviewing the first two books in this series and each one is better than the last. Another Way Home focuses on Danae and Dallas Brooks. They have been trying for many years to have a family, had many fertility treatments, and haven't been able to get pregnant. Danae has been open to adoption but Dallas won't do it or talk about it. Danae decides she needs to find something to fill her days so she volunteers at a women's shelter even though Dallas and her Dad have some major reservations. Danae finds being at the shelter helping these women and children brings her joy she hasn't had in a long time.
Grant and Audrey Whitman and their children are a close-knit family, always willing to support each other in times of trouble. And even though they may struggle with God's way of doing things, they care about His will. Home Another Way is a well crafted story in the Potter's House Series. Brenda S. Anderson tastefully through a story addresses contemporary issues of alcohol and drug addition, street people, homeless shelter, and tent city into a story of compassion and forgiveness.
Inspiring sermons read with Bible Study group. Wonderful collection of sermons to take you through the liturgical year. A book I savored slowly as the lectionary moved through the church. She instills hope that we Christ followers still have something profoundly good to offer to the world. Thanks to Netgalley and Flyaway books for the ebook. The story ends with them going home another way.
The story begins with the wise men searching for something beyond themselves. They set out for Jerusalem separately and meet up on the road to Herod’s palace. After an audience with Herod they make their way to Bethlehem and find Jesus in a small house with his parents. Overall it will interest children and comes at the familiar story from a different perspective while remaining true to the recorded events in our bibles.
